A Subtle Message

This letter from BreakAwayMag is cool:

So, in case you're not understanding: this is my own limited male
way of giving compliments to all of my female friends. And if I
don't say it to you directly, yes I'm a chicken. But don't take
that the wrong way... argh... awkward... comprende?

Thanks Aaron!

It's true it's easy to let society make you feel less than good enough even though I know that's God's opinion is the only one that really counts it is good to hear it from a friend.

That's one thing that's way too hard to do eh? Compliment each other.

Of course like you said it's easy for stuff to get taken the wrong way especially when it's a guy/girl etc..

Exactly! Thanks for commenting.

We're afraid to compliment, because we feel it'll be taken the wrong way. Even inside genders it's tough with the homo stereotypes going around...

Sick sick world...

yeah well I don't think if you compliment someone on their personality it will be taken the wrong way... not for a girl at least... and those are the compliments that really mean something because it's who you are.

I've decided I need to get better at that.
